This interaction was designed as one practice activity within a larger course about composting. It is designed to help learners meet the following objective: Given commonly found examples of household waste, learners will correctly classify each as either suitable or not suitable for composting 100% of the time. After learning about which materials can be mixed together to create a balance of green and brown materials in a previous part of the course, learners complete this practice activity. It allows them to practice their new knowledge before moving onto the formative assessment portion of the course.
