This learning module was designed as an in-person workshop for elementary teachers about how to use the notes feature of Edmodo. It was designed following the steps of the Dick and Carey model. A gap analysis was completed and used to identify the instructional goal and performance objectives. Formative and summative evaluation activities are included throughout the module and are closely aligned with the knowledge and skills outlined in the objectives. It is based upon several tenets of adult learning theory, as it draws upon learners’ prior experiences with social media and relates new skills to their daily job responsibilities.
