Hello! My name is Jean Gierbolini, and I am an instructional designer and e-learning specialist. I graduated from Purdue University’s MSEd in Learning Design and Technology program and am currently working as a freelance instructional designer.
I became interested in instructional design and e-learning while completing a previous master’s degree through an online program at SUNY Albany. During the program, I realized how much I enjoyed collaborating with other learners using Web 2.0 tools and finding creative ways to engage learners and simulate real-world experiences remotely. I knew then that I wanted to focus on instructional design, and I have been passionate about it ever since. My mission is to develop interactive and effective learning solutions to meet the needs of each client.
I have designed learning solutions on a wide range of topics for in-person, blended learning, and e-learning environments. Skilled in the ADDIE design model, I can assist you with any stage of your project, from the front-end analysis all the way through the program evaluation. My experiences in both instructional design and teaching have given me a strong understanding of learning theory and multimedia principles, which I incorporate in all of my design and development projects.
My portfolio contains samples of some of my recent projects, along with information about the tools and techniques I used to create them. To view my portfolio, click the Portfolio tab in the menu or click directly on the project previews on the main page.
